LazyAlpha.AI is an informational portfolio tracking and analytics tool that helps you understand how your investment decisions compare to alternative, hypothetical ("counterfactual") scenarios. The Service is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional financial advice.
3. Beta Service Disclaimer
LazyAlpha.AI is currently in Beta. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," may contain bugs or inaccuracies, and its features, data, and availability may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time without notice. You use the Beta Service at your own risk.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using LazyAlpha.AI, you represent that you meet this requirement.
5. Account Registration & Security
You access LazyAlpha.AI using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
6. Third-Party Financial Connections
LazyAlpha.AI connects to your brokerage or investment accounts through SnapTrade on a strict read-only basis — LazyAlpha.AI cannot execute trades, place buy/sell orders, or move money on your behalf. These connections are also subject to SnapTrade's terms and your financial institution's own terms. LazyAlpha.AI is not responsible for outages, errors, or interruptions caused by these third-party services.
7. No Investment, Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice
Nothing in the Service constitutes personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. All analytics, comparisons, and counterfactual scenarios are for informational purposes only. Consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse engineer it, gaining unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, scraping or bulk-extracting data, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by LazyAlpha.AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your own account and financial data.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAZYALPHA.AI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, particularly during this Beta period. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as LazyAlpha.AI evolves. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
